About fifty years ago, NME gave away one of Jimmy Page‘s guitars to a contest winner – and in a couple of months, it’s going on the auction block – where it’s expected to fetch between thirty and fifty thousand pounds.
The axe is a 1957 Gretsch Chet Atkins 6120; Page says he bought it in Nashville in 1972 for two hundred pounds. And now, Gardiner Houlgate in Corsham, Wiltshire, will put it up for grabs. Interested? Get the details over here.
