Wild ARC – Metchosin’s Wild Animal Rehabilitation Centre – is a BC SPCA initiative to care for injured, ill, and orphaned wild animals, most of which are there due to human-caused issues. They’re currently looking for 100 volunteers who are willing to spend two to four hours per week caring for everything from hummingbirds to eagles to fawns; if you’re 19 or over and an animal lover, or 16 to 18 with parental or guardian consent, they’d like to hear from you. Volunteer registrations are open until the end of April, and you’ll find the registration link and more info over here.
