British firecracker Yungblud has teamed up with Smashing Pumpkins for a new version of Zombie, the third single from his fourth album Idols, which dropped last May. Yungblud met Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan at Ozzy Osbourne‘s/Black Sabbath‘s Back To The Beginning show in Birmingham, shortly before The Prince Of Darkness went to the other side. The two have had a mutual admiration society for some time, with Corgan comparing Yungblud’s move from pop to rock to Elton John’s transformation.
