Spinal Tap are back with another film, and a new album to go with it – and one of their guests is Sir Elton John.
The rerecording of their classic track Stonehenge has dropped ahead of the Spinal Tap 2 film, which will hit theaters Friday September 12; the accompanying album, The End Continues, will land the same day. The thirteen-track album contains nine brand new songs along with four redone favorites, and other guests include Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Trisha Yearwood.
The new film is a followup to the 1984 mockumentary This Is Spinal Tap. Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer, who portrayed the hapless heavy metal trio in the original, return again, and Paul and Elton also have cameos.
