The massive FireAid concerts benefiting Los Angeles fire recovery efforts kick off tonight in two Inglewood California venues, with the money raised from ticket sales going to the Annenberg Foundation – a Los Angeles based nonprofit which has been providing post-disaster assistance since 1989.
Artists confirmed for FireAid include Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, P!nk, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, Tate McRae, and – appearing together for the very first time – Dave Matthews and John Mayer. Venue fees and ticket processing fees have been waived for this event.
The concerts will stream on multiple online and broadcast platforms including Apple Music, the Apple TV app, Max, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, YouTube and others; select AMC Theatres in 70 countries will also carry the broadcast.
FireAid kicks off tonight at 6pm Pacific Time at the Kia Forum and 730pm at the Intuit Dome – the FireAid website is over here.
Update: Citing an urgent family situation, Dave Matthews has dropped out. We wish him and his family all the best.
