This morning, The Tragically Hip‘s Paul Langlois had a wee note for us.
“Today we released a surprise track from the archive. We recorded ‘Wait So Long’ during the original ‘Up To Here’ sessions [in] 1989. We’ve remastered it and released it to celebrate the big day.”
And why is the day big? Because The Tragically Hip: No Dress Rehearsal documentary is now officially available worldwide. You can watch it on Amazon Prime.
On his Facebook page, Langlois says: “We collectively decided that we were going to be as honest as we could in the making of this docu-series, and we dove deep into some parts of our history that, up until now, were left unsaid. We can’t thank Mike and his team enough for the integrity they had in telling our story the right way. I’m excited (and a bit nervous) to hear what you all think of it.”
