Campbell River’s Sealand Flight has received Transport Canada approval to begin flight training in their new Pipistrel Velis Electro aircraft – and this Friday, you could be the first person in Canada to be on board a commercial electric flight, as a new era in Canadian aviation begins.
For a chance to join one of their instructors in the air – and fly the new aircraft yourself – write an essay of 300 words or less, explaining why you’d like to learn to fly in an electric aircraft. The winner will be contacted by Thursday and given the opportunity to purchase a $20 ticket for the flight.
