The pesky White Nose Syndrome, which is a deadly fungal infection, has been decimating North American bat populations – and Victoria’s Habitat Acquisition Trust is out to make sure our Vancouver Island furry friends get some support.
During International Bat Week, you can adopt a bat, or a few bats, or an entire colony. They won’t actually send you a live bat, but you can feel good knowing that your donation will help the trust continue its research and data collection on local populations, create and maintain bat-supporting infrastructure, and help with education (of humans, not bats. The bats are already pretty educated).
