Stoned Cold Country sees a Who’s Who of genre-busting country artists reimagining Stones classics, including Brooks and Dunn (Honky Tonk Women, of course), Eric Church, Steve Earle, Little Big Town and many others. I played a bit of Elvie Shane‘s take on Sympathy For The Devil a few days ago — thanks for the many thumbs up on that — and here’s one from a cat who’s been getting some good reaction to a few of his tunes we’ve been playing lately: Marcus King, with his cover of a slow-burning jam on the 1971 Sticky Fingers album.
