Byrds and Crosby, Stills and Nash man David Crosby, who passed away yesterday at 81 following a long illness, was nothing if not a Twitter snark pro – right up til his last days.
A couple of years ago, he responded to a fan’s artwork by calling it “the weirdest painting of me that I have ever seen” and advised them to not “quit your day job”. And one of his final tweets saw him poking fun at – of all things – heaven, saying that “People with tattoos will not go to heaven. People who drink alcohol will not go to heaven. People who also eat too much pork will not go to heaven.”
Oh, and apparently the place is also overrated.
I heard the place is overrated….cloudy https://t.co/Bpl7pM9k7s

One fan correctly replied: “David to the end.”
Other David updates include the fact that Eleanor Rigby is the best Beatles song. He also had compliments for Greta Thunberg.
She is brave ….nothing less https://t.co/TANwIGQYEa
