Noted rock and roll lifestyle survivor Keith Richards has reassured us that we can, in fact, expect new Rolling Stones music in the not-too-distant future.
The Stones axeman posted a short video with the news on his Gram account Wednesday, and wished us all “a belated happy New Year”. He also hinted about possible shows: “Hopefully we’ll get to see you. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.”

Last year, Richards said he was hopeful that the Stones would have new tracks laid down by the end of 2022. He also said that Steve Jordan, who assumed touring duties following Charlie Watts‘ death, would also be contributing to a new album – which would also include some of Watts’ drumming.
