It’s a celebration of Gord’s life, music & legacy! Come celebrate, sing & dance together in a spirited tribute to Gord - Canada’s Best Friend - Downie & The Tragically Hip AND raise funds for the Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund.
Wayne Kaulbach will be playing musical gigs on a Cross Canada Tour (West to East/March to October 2026) in his VW Eurovan shining a light on reconciliation in association with The Gord Downie & Chanie Wenjack Fund. For the past 9 years he has been the lead singer of the Hip Cover Band, Bobcaygeon, based in Vancouver.
Wayne's goal is to raise $10,000 and play 50 shows, with at least one show in every Province and Territory. He will play a mixture of Tragically Hip songs, originals and select covers.
*50% of venue proceeds from bookings will be donated to them.
* Wayne will be asking folk across this land: ‘What does Reconciliation mean to YOU?’
