Battle of the Dad Bands

Head to the Capital Ballroom and turn up the party at this year’s Battle of the Dad Bands – a no-holds-barred rock showdown where weekend warriors become self-proclaimed virtuosos.

The show features three dad-powered bands: Last Night In Vegas, Not 4 Public Consumption and Big Font (the latter includng The Q's own Ed Bain, who'll ditch the accordion and pick up his guitar).

It's all part of June's End2End cycling relay, in which Ed (ditching the accordion and climbing on his bike) and eight teammates will ride from Victoria to Port Hardy and back to raise money for the Island Kids Cancer Association. More info at: end2endcancer.com
