Q Roadie Shenanigans… and Then Some!
The U7 Islanders had a booming BBQ and bottle drive to raise money for team expenses like traveling for games, equipment, and more. When I got there, they already had around 10 bags filled with bottles, and all the kids were hard at work sorting them. It was a ton of fun hanging out with everyone, enjoying hot dogs, and counting bottles. Good luck in your upcoming games, U7 Islanders!
The Victoria Humane Society held their first bottle drive of the year, and while everyone did their best to keep track of the bottles, some adorable fluffy friends made it a bit of a challenge. The energy was great, and there were plenty of smiles all around. All in all, it was a fantastic time supporting a great cause!
The Q! Roadies went down to Odd Burger this week for VegFest. VegFest is an annual festival that celebrates being vegan, trying new foods, and more. There was face painting, hanging out, free vegan ice cream, and 20% of all sales were donated to A Home for Hooves Farm Sanctuary. We had a blast trying some new, delicious vegan foods!
What's Next?
On February 12th, Arctic Spas will be hosting their annual Love Tub event. We hope to see you there!
