Thje MTV reality series The Osbournes came to an end in 2005, after four seasons; at one point, there was talk of the BBC doing a reboot which would follow the family as they relocated from Los Angeles to the UK. But according to some comments on the latest episode of The Osbournes Podcast, it’s not looking likely that that will actually happen.
Jack asks the fam if the show had a positive or negative effect on their mental health, to which Kelly replies that it had “a massive negative effect” because of having to constantly relive every conversation she’d had over a 24 hour or six month period, and having people judge her constantly.
As for Ozzy, he says the show “sent me a bit crazy at times,” adding that “it’s so intrusive in your house.” Nostril-mining and pimple-popping are mentioned. TMI. In any case, I wouldn’t bet money on seeing the TV show resurface: “It won’t happen again. Never in a million years.”
