Last month, Eagles kicked off their Long Goodbye tour with Steely Dan opening up, and just a few weeks later, The Dan are out and The Millers are in.
According to the Indianapolis Star, Don Henley said that Donald Fagen has landed in hospital – and that five members of Eagles’ crew had tested positive for COVID-19. However, “the show must go on”, he said, while thanking Steve Miller for stepping in. There’s no word on what’s ailing Steely Dan, which members have it, or how dire it is.
The Steelies opened the Belmont Park New York show Wednesday September 20, then it was all birds all the time with Sheryl Crow opening this past Thursday and Friday, and then Miller did last night’s Indianapolis concert.
Get swell soon, all.
*Update* As of this afternoon, Donald Fagen is out of hospital. The band are scheduled to resume their opening-up duties Thursday November 02.
