Stand up for Secwépemc Nation - Fire Relief Benefit Soiree
Come join us at The Hallway on Douglas Street and celebrate Halloween in benefit of an excellent cause. An inaugural event with heart, Stand Up for Secwépemc Nation is about standing up for Secwepemc families who have lost their homes on reserve to the recent forest fires in August.
Drag, performing artists, musicians and poets are coming together to raise funds the Secwépemc'ulecw Grassroots Movement, a grassroots group putting money in the hands of those who need it. Together we can support people to get back on their feet so they can heal their community.
Including performances by Serra Moanie, Sapphic Content and Shirley A Tease and other guests, musical musings by Opal Dar, spoken word poetry by Cedar and dance to the sounds of a local DJ for a sizzling hot night of fun, mayhem, mischief and healing.
DJ only tickets available with entry from 10:00pm onwards. VIP tickets include 1 drink.
