Esquimalt Ribfest

Your $100 ticket includes ribs from ALL six professional BBQ teams AND beer, wine, cider, or gin cocktails. All proceeds go to local charities like The Q!'s TLC Fund for Kids and Esquimalt’s Rainbow Kitchen!

The Q! is proud to present the TENTH annual Esquimalt Ribfest in Bullen Park in Esquimalt!

This event is free to attend, with a weekend of BBQ ribs from SIX big-rig rib companies, along with local entertainment (over 20 local bands), six local craft breweries, three local cideries, and about 20 local food and craft vendors.

Enjoy this great family event with the best ribs you've ever tasted!

• Sunday, September 10 · 12:00–9:00 pm

Featuring:

• Music and entertainment all weekend long on the Jason Buie Memorial Stage
• A rib cook-off between champion barbecue teams
• Beer garden featuring local beer & cider

Please note: this is a CASH-ONLY event (tho' there's an ATM on-site!), and parking is limited. You're encouraged to walk, bike (bike valet on-site!), bus, or carpool. Finally, no pets, please. They probably want those ribs as much as you.

Back this year: the Esquimalt Naval Base is opening up the DND parking lot on Canteen Road (about 8 blocks from Bullen Park), available Friday from 4:00–11:00 pm, Saturday from 11:00 am–11:00 pm, and Sunday from 11:00 am–10:00 pm. A free shuttle buss from the lot to the park will run every 20 minutes. Vehicles can be left overnight Friday or Saturday.
