Ladysmith Show 'n Shine

On the third Saturday in August, First Avenue in downtown Ladysmith on Vancouver Island is lined with various makes and models of beautiful and treasured cars and motorcycles!

The local Kinsmen Club host a beer garden, located in the parking lot of Dunsmuir Square (Kitchener and First Avenues). Along with a cold beer or two, the members will also be BBQ-ing up their famous ribs, a “must stop” for participants and spectators. The Kinsmen’s Downtown Public Bathroom is also open on First Avenue for those in need, just next to CrossFit.

The Ladysmith Lions have their food trailer next to the main stage on High Street, serving their famous breakfast sandwiches along with their regular fare of hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks and other goodies.

It all starts at 10 am and wraps up at 3 pm. Registration begins at 8 am at the north end of First Avenue.
