The Q! is getting ready for holiday cheer...and more!
The Q! went down to the Bay Center for the Festival of Trees. We got to set up a Q! themed tree.
Festival of Trees Victoria transforms The Bay Centre into a sparkling indoor forest of uniquely decorated Christmas trees, each created by local businesses, groups, and community partners. Free to visit, this holiday tradition invites guests to explore the displays, pick favourites, and vote by donation in support of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. A festive, family-friendly way to experience the season and give back to kids across B.C.
Victoria’s Habitat for Humanity Gingerbread Showcase transformed the Hotel Grand Pacific into a winter wonderland! Gorgeous, creative gingerbread houses and scenes filled every corner, including a creation by The Q!. Visitors could vote for their favorite displays, with donations supporting Habitat for Humanity Victoria’s Build Fund. A sweet and festive way to celebrate the season while helping local families find a place to call home!
On November 22nd, Butterfly Gardens held a very special birthday celebration for Mango the flamingo, who turned 50 years old. Everyone who went to see Mango on his birthday got to enjoy some amazing treats, like a tiny flamingo cupcake and more. We also got to visit the birthday bird himself. It was such a fun time. Happy birthday, Mango!
