800KM in 8 Days!
The Roadie went down to Market Square on Saturday to welcome back the Wounded Warrior runners on their 8-day run to raise awareness and funds for first responders’ mental health.
They ran over 800 km in 8 days with only 8 runners—truly an amazing feat for a fantastic cause.

Hot Cross Buns to Kittens!
On Sunday we made a few stops! First we stopped at Elite4Games, where we rolled dice for a chance to win a prize. Unfortunately, none of us won, but little did we know, there was a free prize for everyone — we each got a free Pokémon card!
Next, we headed over to the WestShore Cobs Bread, where we saw a bunch of people playing “Hot Cross Buns” to win a free hot cross bun (It was annual “Hot Cross Bun Day”). There was even a guy playing the bagpipes!
After that, we went to a fundraiser supporting local animals called The Itty Bitty Kitty Committee, yes, lost of adorable kittens.
What's Next?
We also had an opportunity to talk with Crystal Dunahee about this year’s Michael Dunahee Keep The Hope Alive Drive 5K Fun Walk and Run coming up on Sunday March 23rd.
