Thank You For Helping Ease The Burden For Linden’s Family
Every parent’s nightmare became real in Nanaimo when eight year old Linden Baglo rode his bike out of the driveway, collided with a truck, and passed away later in hospital. And as the family grieves, many are stepping up to help.
A GoFundMe set up to help pay for funeral costs has surpassed its $30,000 target; as I write this, $32,620 has been raised by almost 500 people. The campaign reads: “This loving adorable funny little boy bringing joy and smiles to everyone’s life that he touched was tragically taken from us on January 6, 2019 at the age of 8 while riding his bike with his best friend Shelby (his sister) on their street. Linden was a charismatic sweet boy who loved to tell stories and gave the best arm massages to all that would listen and let him!”
A recent update reads: “The family is overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and again wants to thank everyone for reaching out and sharing their love and support. At this time they need time to grieve and of course make the heartbreaking preparations to come. Thanks again for all the support and shares to help this family at such a terrible time.”
