Bon Jovi Did Pretty Well On The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Fan Ballot; Radiohead Not So Much
Next week, we’ll be hearing about who’s getting into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame this time around, and ahead of that, the kids in the Hall have revealed the winners of their annual fan vote. Radiohead are in twelfth place, which is probably okay with them because they don’t particularly give a rip about being inducted anyway.
The members of Bon Jovi who still imbibe, on the other hand, are probably popping some champagne, because they came out on top, beating out The Moody Blues, Dire Straits, The Cars and Judas Priest. Those five will be on a single ballot together with the other 900 or so. Based on that, you’d think that all of this wouldn’t sway things all that much, but there is precedent: since the Fan Vote’s inception, whoever got the most votes did in fact get an induction. So, if you’re jumping up and down and sending congratulatory text messages to Jon, you may not be all that premature.
The rundown is right over this way, and the pearl-clutching about who didn’t get into the Hall this year will commence on Wednesday December 13 at 4am our time.
