Christmas Cheek From Mc — Uh — CHEER. I Mean Christmas CHEER From McDonald’s
Some things can’t be unseen. Exhibit A: The unauthorized “adaptation” performed on a festive coffee cup offered by the fine people at McDonald’s, who no doubt bent over forwards — er, backwards — to get these cheery vessels out there in time to warm the hearts of their customers during the holiday season, only to become the butt of jokes. Okay, I’ll stop now. Here’s the cup in question. Cozy mittens, hearts, stars, snowflakes — it’s what Christmas is all about, right?
And here’s the modified version (not quite so much what Christmas is all about), courtesy of a gentleman by the name of @SamSykesSwears — with somewhat appropriate reaction from @popcultini:
When someone draws fingers on McDonald’s mittens and ‘spreading holiday cheer’ takes on entirely new meaning. Good God. pic.twitter.com/k9DZRiJabf
