Savour Cowichan is one of Vancouver Island’s most anticipated food and drink events. This year’s marquee events (“Barge On In” and Octoberfest) raised more than $40,000 for autism.

In the past years, Savour Cowichan has raised more than $100,000 for the Canucks Autism Network (CAN), to support day camps and sports programs for individuals and families living with autism. CAN events will be hosted in the Cowichan Valley throughout the year to bring families together.

“We are incredibly humbled by the ongoing support of the Cowichan Valley community and everyone involved in the Savour Cowichan Festival,” CAN’s Noah Morantz said. “The success of the festival and its marquee events has empowered us to increase our offerings in the local region while welcoming new families living with autism.”

Congratulations to organizers, participating vendors and 100.3 The Q! listeners who supported another successful event.
