Austin Powers Steamroller [New Line]

Major upgrades at the intersection of Hillside and Blanshard are underway as of today; the City Of Victoria says work will close lanes and disrupt traffic for up to seven weeks.  Those upgrades include storm drain repairs, sidewalk improvements and roadway resurfacing.

The City reports that work will be scheduled to minimize traffic impacts during morning and afternoon rush hours.  The final day of paving will be a Sunday in September, during which the intersection will be closed for up to 24 hours.

Pedestrians and cyclists will be accommodated during the project.

  1. Typical:- do it at night – The traffic all over the crd is going to be crazy, so why not add something else.. Take down the barries let traffic use the side roads – traffic calming = driver aggrivation – crazy.
