Eric Clapton has released a lyric video for “Can’t Let You Do It,” a track from his forthcoming album “I Still Do”.
The new album is due to arrive on May 20th. The 12-song album is as what he’s called “a long and overdue” reunion with producer Glyn Johns, who helmed some of his bestselling ’70s work.
While the bulk of the record finds him working with his usual backing band, including guitarist Andy Fairweather Low and keyboardist/vocalist Paul Carrack, there’s at least one special guest. One track on the album, “I Will Be There,” features a posthumous vocal and guitar cameo by Clapton’s old friend George Harrison.
Here is a good chat Eric did with Rolling Stone mag.
