Blackie And The Rodeo Kings [PopMatters]

About five years ago, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings released their collaborative album, Kings And Queens — so named because BARK were joined on it by several high-profile and well respected women, including Lucinda Williams and Rosanne Cash.  Now, in the spirit of equal opportunity, comes the latest effort from Tom Wilson, Stephen Fearing and Colin LindenKings And Kings.  On this one, of course, the boys are the guests, and there are some mighty impressive names on the list — Bruce Cockburn, Vince Gill, Keb’ Mo’, Dallas Green, Rodney Crowell, Nick Lowe, Raul Malo and Eric Church, among others.
