Axl Rose fractured his foot, but it didn’t stop him from making Guns N’ Roses tour opening gig in Las Vegas.

Rose revealed the injury via Twitter, saying “this is what can happen when you do something you haven’t done in nearly over 23 years.” His foot specialist pinpointed the break at Rose’s fifth metatarsal. So, what to do when you break your foot and you have show commitments? You borrow Dave Grohl’s throne of course.
Before Guns N’ Roses’ launched into their first song at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 9, Axl was wheeled onto the stage aboard the same metal throne Foo Fighter’s frontman Dave Grohl used last year after breaking his leg falling off the stage during a June show in Sweden.
Initially the distinctive red “FF” logo was temporarily covered up for the duration of Guns N’ Roses set. When Rose returned for the encore the throne’s cover was removed showing this was the very same throne Grohl used.
