Aerosmith cofounder, axeman, principal songsmith, and coproducer — and possible sharer of Bonnie Raitt‘s hair colorist — Joe Perry will drop a new solo album next year.
Sweetzerland Manifesto is Perry’s sixth solo effort, with ten tracks written or cowritten by him, with the exception of an Eve Of Destruction cover with Perry on lead vocals and Hollywood Vampires bandmate Johnny Depp on drums. Guests include David Johansen, Terry Reid, Zak Starkey, and Perry’s sons Roman and Tony. As well, Cheap Trick wailer Robin Zander cowrote, and appears on, this one: Aye, Aye, Aye.
Sweetzerland Manifesto hits the shops Friday January 19.
