One of the province’s biggest driving schools is warning wait times for road tests could get even longer with a new system in place.
The B.C. Government is introducing the Enhanced Road Assessment program which is a new system to test seniors if they are fit to drive.
Kate Wells from Drive Wise BC says right now wait times to book a test in Victoria is three months.
“Now that the road tests are going from 75 minutes to 90 minutes, it will have an affect on the already strained system.”
Drive Wise BC calling on ICBC to hire more examiners ahead of the March, when the new program kicks in.
