A candlelight vigil walk will be held on Tuesday night to mark five years since the mysterious disappearance of Emma Fillipoff on Victoria streets.
The then 26 year-old was last since acting strangely in front of the Empress Hotel on the evening November 28th, 2012.
Victoria Police say they continue investigate the disappearance as a major crime.
“We’re still receiving tips and we are hoping that we will receive that one tip that we need in order to locate Emma” said Detective Constable Dawndra Tolsma in a news release. “Each tip that we receive is investigated and we encourage anybody with any information to contact us.”
Her mother, Shelley Fillipoff will host a walk tonight at 7:00 p.m. starting at the Tourist Information Centre in downtown Victoria.
“I think its going to be very emotional and very gratifying and hopefully it brings Emma home to us.”
